Students at Borman K-8 celebrated their love of reading with a fun literacy parade! Students dressed up as characters from their favorite books and marched through the school while family members gathered to watch and cheer them on.

School Photos - Sock Donation
Borman K8 students collected a grand total of 1,165 pairs of new socks! Every classroom participated in the collection drive, showing incredible generosity and school spirit. The class with the most socks earned a popcorn party. These will all be donated to the TUSD Duffy Clothing Bank. Thanks to everyone who helped us bring warmth to our community!

Borman K-8 held a special flag raising ceremony in honor of 9/11, remembering all the individuals who lost their lives on that day. Several parents in uniform joined their children and the school community for the ceremony. As a proud military family school, Borman holds multiple flag raisings each year to honor service, sacrifice, and country.

Students, staff, and families gathered outside Borman K-8 wearing purple for a flag-raising ceremony in honor of the Month of the Military Child. The event featured student performances, a presentation by the Davis-Monthan Color Guard, and a special visit from Superintendent Dr. Gabriel Trujillo. The Month of the Military Child is a time to honor and recognize the resilience and sacrifices of children in military families.
