We're thrilled to shine a spotlight on Candace, an inspiring educator at Borman K-8! Candace has been a dedicated member of the TUSD team since 2010, and she's been sparking curiosity at Borman since 2011. Candace has spent most of her time shaping young minds in the third grade and recently made the exciting shift to teaching fourth grade, which she absolutely loves! Her secret to success? It's all about the students.

"I think what I like best about my job is really just the kids. I think that they're amazing," she shares with enthusiasm. Candace finds joy in teaching concepts and making strong, fun connections with her students and their families every single year, which helps bring good energy and great vibes to her classroom.

Outside of the classroom, family is Candace's heart! She loves spending quality time with her five children. And for a fun surprise, she de-stresses and has fun by working out and lifting weights!
